Crypto Portfolio Calculator

Wallet Address Validator
Wallet Balance Checker
Cryptocurrency tools focus on the operational side — converting units (satoshi/wei/lamport/ETH), validating wallet addresses, tracking portfolio value with tax-basis accounting (FIFO/LIFO/HIFO), and reading blockchain data. None of these touch real wallets; they are for reading public data and computing locally.
Conversions
Bitcoin (sat ↔ BTC), Ethereum (wei ↔ Gwei ↔ ETH), Solana (lamport ↔ SOL), plus fiat conversion at mid-market rates. The mid-market vs consumer rate gap is where banks make money — typically 2-5% on small transfers.
Convert cryptocurrency units. Satoshi to Bitcoin, Wei to Gwei to Ether, and more. Live price conversion between crypto and fiat currencies

Wallet operations
Validate addresses with checksum (EIP-55 for Ethereum, base58check for Bitcoin legacy, bech32 for SegWit, bech32m for Taproot). Read on-chain balances and recent transactions via public block explorers — no private keys involved, no transactions signed.
Validate cryptocurrency wallet addresses. Check if Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Litecoin addresses are valid. Detect address type and network
Check cryptocurrency wallet balance by address. View Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana balances. See transaction history and token holdings. Real-time blockchain data
Portfolio & tracking
Tax-basis accounting (FIFO/LIFO/HIFO), profit-loss per holding, unrealized vs realized gains. Crypto-to-crypto trades are taxable events in most jurisdictions even when no fiat changes hands — track every swap.
Frequently asked questions
Are crypto wallet addresses safe to share?
For receiving funds: yes, that is their purpose. For privacy: not really — every transaction your address makes is public on the blockchain forever. Cluster analysis (Chainalysis-style) can link multiple addresses to one entity. For privacy, use new addresses per transaction or a privacy chain (Monero).
Is sending crypto to the wrong address recoverable?
Almost never. If you typed wrong but the address still parses (passes checksum), funds go to whoever owns the destination. No protocol-level recourse. Always verify addresses with checksum tools before signing transactions, ideally on a second device.
How are crypto-to-crypto trades taxed?
In most jurisdictions, as a disposal of the source asset plus acquisition of the destination — both taxable events. Even though no fiat changed hands. Record every swap with timestamp and fair-market value at time of trade. Crypto Calculator handles FIFO/LIFO/HIFO basis tracking.
Which chain has the cheapest transactions?
In 2026: Solana (~$0.001), Polygon (~$0.005), Arbitrum / Optimism (~$0.05-0.50), Ethereum mainnet ($2-50 depending on congestion). Bitcoin mainnet fees fluctuate based on mempool — usually $1-10. Pick chain based on use case (DeFi vs payments vs settlement).
